Dancing in the Street 2026 – A Look Back

On June 13, 2026, the time had finally come: our annual dance showcase “Dancing in the Street” brought numerous dancers to the stage and treated our audience to two unforgettable performances.

Months of rehearsals, dedication, and countless hours of hard work truly paid off. It was wonderful to see our students perform with such joy, energy, and passion. As a dance school, these are the moments that remind us why we love what we do.

A heartfelt thank you goes to all of our dancers, their families, our volunteers, and everyone in the audience. An event like this would not have been possible without your support.

Our First Raffle in Support of the Junior Dance Academy

This year also marked a special milestone: for the first time, we held a fundraising raffle. The proceeds will support our Junior Dance Academy, helping us provide even more opportunities for young dancers to grow and develop their talents.

The raffle was such a great success thanks to our incredible sponsors, who generously donated amazing prizes and made this initiative possible.

KBC Competition Team 2026

From May 8 to May 10, 2026, the International Dance Open – World Finals took place in Zagreb. Our dancers impressed with outstanding performances and showcased their talent at an exceptional level. A selection of dances from our competition program was presented, resulting in 12 gold, 9 silver, and 6 bronze medals.

We warmly congratulate all participants on their excellent performances on stage. We are incredibly proud of all dancers and choreographers who contributed to these fantastic results with great commitment, discipline, and passion.

THE GIRL FROM EPANEMA

From April 29 to May 3, 2026, the Austrian Open – A.S.D.U. International took place in Wiener Neustadt. Our dancers impressed with outstanding performances and showcased their talent at an exceptional level. A selection of dances from our competition program was presented, resulting in 2 gold, 7 silver, and 4 bronze medals. In addition, we received the award for Best Costume with the performance “THE GIRL FROM EPANEMA”.

These achievements once again highlight the high artistic standard and strong team spirit within our groups. We warmly congratulate all participants on their excellent performances on stage. On April 11 and 12, 2026, the International Dance Contest took place in Klagenfurt. Our dancers impressed with outstanding performances and showcased their skills at an exceptional level. A total of 15 dances competed, achieving 7 gold medals, 3 silver medals, and 2 bronze medals.

These successes once again highlight the high level of dance as well as the strong team spirit within our groups. We warmly congratulate all participants on their excellent performances on stage.

KBC Contest Team 2026, International Dance Open Eisenstadt

From March 13–15, 2026, the Dance Unit Austria took place in Innsbruck. Our dancers impressed with outstanding performances and showcased their skills at the highest level. They achieved numerous successes, winning 7 gold medals, 8 silver medals and 8 bronze medals.

Particularly noteworthy are the nominations for the title Dancer of the Year: in the Juniors category,Elena Mihajlovic and Amita Dvorak were nominated, and in the Seniors category, Filipa Kostadinova.

Our work was also recognized choreographically: the musical group dance THE GREAT GATSBY, choreographed by Yvonne Kellinger, was nominated for Choreography of the Year.
