Great Contest Preparation Camp 2021 with Kristina Decker and Team

Last week several young dancers attended the Contest Preparation Camp as their first step towards our Junior Academy.

This week we continue with the Contest Training Camp to get ready for our Junior Academy Audition on September 6 and 7, 2021.

Audition for age 5 – 10 years: Tuesday, September 7, 2021 from 4:00-6:00 p.m.
Audition for age 10 – 14 years: Monday, September 6, 2021 from 5:00-7:30 p.m.
Audition for age 14 – 22 years: Tuesday, September 7, 2021 from 6:00-8:00 p.m.

We really want to say that each year our entire KBC family is looking forward to every single competition and dance opportunity. The pandemic has shown us, how precious these moments on stage are and how much we have to appreciate them. It was a blessing for us to be able to travel, dance all together in the studio, instead of squeezing ourselves into a small space via Zoom and of course to be able to perform in front of an audience!

We participated at the DanceStar Qualifyer in Zell am See and at the Austrian Dance Cup in Bad Ischl. We congratulate all our dancers to their successes. Especially Jule Joana Höller and Luisa Solowjowa who both won the special award “Outstanding Dancer” in their respective age categories. Here below the results:

Our Summer Workshops start next week

We are looking forward to see you all again back in our studio when our Summer Workshops start on August 9, 2021. Please don’t forget to register in time on our website!

Also this year we have a colourful program with our Dance Camps and Workshops in many different dance styles. There is something for everyone.

For the advanced dancers we recommend our Trainings Series, taught by Academy Teachers and Kristina amongst others. And if you aspire to dance at national and international competitions, then register for our Contest Preparation Camp (Contest-Vorbereitungs-Camp).

Dear Dancers, dear Parents!

As of today the registration for our super affordable WIENXTRA workshops is possible on our website.

Also this year we have great courses and workshops for all ages. We are happy, to be able to offer even more courses for ages 10-15 as part of the new FRISH programme.

  • Our Combi Class “Spaß mit Tanzen” (“Fun with Dancing”) as part of the KinderAktiv programme is the ideal entry for our youngest dancers.
  • Our 2-days Summer Dance Workshop as part of the Ferienspiel gives you a perspective on the relevant Jazz and Contemporary elements.
  • Cool moves from a variety of dance styles you can pick up in our 2-days Tik Tok Video Ferienspiel workshop.
  • For the fans of contemporary dance we offer a 2-days Contemporary Dance Ferienspiel workshop.
  • As part of the WIENXTRA FRISH programme we have a new course this year: Acrobatics.
  • As one of the best tap dance schools in Austria, we are very glad to offer a tap dance class this year at trial rates.
  • We also offer an affordable Hip Hop Jazz course this year.

Our one-hour courses cost EUR 2 with a KinderAktiv Card or with reference to FRISH. Our 2-days Ferienspiel workshops are EUR 4, payable on the first day.

Classes during May/June Holidays

Dear Dancers and Parents!

We already informed you that the summer semester will run until July 3rd 2021. The classes will – like in the past months – also take place during most holidays and bridge days.

The dance studio is closed during the Whit Holidays, i.e. there won’t be classes on May 24th and May 25th  2021.

On Corpus Christi and the following days from June 3rd – 5th 2021 we shall have regular classes.

Please let us know if you cannot participate on any of the dates in June/July.

 

Happy 2019

We are back in the Studios!

We are sure, you are as happy as we are, to be back to dance at our studios in Praterstraße 25a (U1 Station Nestroyplatz – in case you forgot after this long break 🤣). In addition to our prevention concept, all students require a proof to be either recovered, vaccinated or tested. We recognise (negative) school tests.

Some students told us they had problems with the current schedule to make it to class in time due to travel distance. For some of these classes we’ll continue to stream them to allow these students to participate. You can get details to these classes from our reception via office@broadwayconnection.at or via phone +43-699-101-58-586.

As our summer semester started late, the classes will run until July 3rd 2021. Here the current schedule:

Happy Easter!

Happy Easter Holidays!

Happy Easter!

Dear Dancers and Parents,

the Easter Holidays are fast approaching and therefore there won’t be any online classes between March 29th and April 5th. Zoom online classes will return on Tuesday after Easter!

Unfortunately, we are still awaiting any word on the question when we can open up the school again but we will of course let you know as soon as we have any information.

Until then we wish to remind you that the current online classes are still considered part of the first semester and the second semester won’t officially start until we can  have our courses in the studio again. Naturally, the second semester will therefore be cheaper because of the shortened duration.
